About the app

Set up a camera for your practice session, then revisit the movements it captures. Fairway helps you review a swing without scrubbing through an entire recording.

What you can do

  • Track visible body landmarks during continuous practice
  • Review supported 2D angles and displacement
  • Open a saved session and play its skeleton animation
Implementation details

Camera processing stays on your device

Pose inference runs in the browser. The server stores session summaries and bounded skeleton clips for later review.

Tracking quality matters

Your whole body needs to remain visible. When tracking is incomplete, Fairway withholds timing estimates rather than filling in the gaps.

Development

We built the browser camera pipeline, pose tracking, swing detector, session storage and skeleton replay.

Before you start

Place the camera face-on with your full body in view. Fairway shows 2D movement from that viewpoint. Swing detection and timing are experimental, so treat the results as practice observations rather than precise measurements.
