Billing & pricing

How are plans billed?

All pricing is in CAD and billed monthly. You can pay via credit card or ACH; invoices include a detailed usage breakdown for apps, storage, notebooks, and GPUs.

Do unused notebook hours roll over?

Base notebook hours reset each billing cycle. Any overage is charged at the student or team rate published on the pricing page.

Can I switch plans mid-cycle?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges; downgrades take effect at the next renewal to avoid data loss.

Do you support annual billing?

Annual billing is available for teams and business customers with a 5% discount. Contact sales to configure payment terms.

Platform & infrastructure

Where are workloads hosted?

We use Canadian data centers with Cloudflare failover across regions to keep residency and performance intact.

What runtimes are supported for apps?

Supabase and Appwrite stacks are fully managed. You can deploy custom services via Docker containers on our VPS plans.

How do backups work?

Nightly automated backups cover databases, notebooks, and object storage metadata. You can request point-in-time restores via support.

Can I bring my own domain?

Absolutely. Custom domains and managed TLS certificates are included for Sapling and higher, with automated renewals.

Security & compliance

What security standards do you follow?

We apply SOC 2-aligned controls, MFA everywhere, infrastructure-as-code reviews, and quarterly penetration testing with third-party auditors.

Do you offer private networking?

Yes. WireGuard tunnels provide private access to databases and control planes. Evergreen plans can provision dedicated VPN gateways.

Is data encrypted?

All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS 1.2+ and at rest with provider-managed keys. Customers can request dedicated key management for enterprise workloads.

How is account access managed?

Role-based access is standard. Team owners can invite collaborators, grant least-privilege roles, and enforce SSO on Evergreen plans.

Support & migrations

How fast is support?

Standard response times are within one business day. Sapling teams receive four-hour responses, and Evergreen customers access 24/7 on-call escalation.

Can you help me migrate?

Yes. We include migration planning, database imports, and DNS cutover assistance at no additional cost for all paid plans.

Do you offer training?

We provide onboarding sessions, documentation, and optional workshops tailored to faculty, student groups, or corporate teams.

How do I report incidents?

Submit tickets via the portal, email support@vriksh.cloud, or escalate through the status page hotline for Sev1 incidents.
